Earth Ponies
Ability Score Racial Traits: Earth Ponies are diverse and adaptable. They gain 2 to any two ability scores of their choice.
Type: Earth Ponies are humanoids with the pony subtype.
Size: Earth Ponies are Medium creatures and thus have no bonuses or penalties due to their size. However, they are long creatures and so have limited reach if their size is increased.
Speed: Earth Ponies have a base speed of 30 ft.
Languages: Earth Ponies begin play speaking Common. Earth Ponies with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: Sylvan, Halfling, Elven, Gnome, and Draconic.
Armless Quadruped: Earth Ponies gain a 4 racial bonus to CMD against trip attempts, the increased carrying capacity for a medium four-legged creature and a 10 foot bonus to their land speed. When standing on two hooves, they lose these bonuses and instead may use their front two hooves to carry, retrieve or manipulate objects, but not wield a weapon effectively.
Advanced Mouth Wielding: Earth Ponies can use their mouth as a single manipulator for weapons and items. They can wield a one- or two-handed melee or thrown weapon in their teeth and treat it as a two-handed attack.
Bite: Earth Ponies gain a bite attack for 1d3.
Stubborn: Earth Ponies gain a 2 racial bonus on Will saving throws to resist spells and spell-like abilities of the enchantment (charm) and enchantment (compulsion) subschools. In addition, if an Earth Pony fails such a save, it receives another save 1 round later to prematurely end the effect (assuming the spell or spell-like ability has a duration greater than 1 round). This second save is made at the same DC as the first. If the Earth Pony has a similar ability from another source (such as a rogue’s slippery mind class feature), it can only use one of these abilities per round, but can try the other on the second round if the first reroll ability fails.
Cutie Mark: Before adulthood, ponies gain a cutie mark related to their calling in life. All skill or ability checks directly related to their cutie mark gain a 2 competence bonus. This bonus increases by 1 at level 6, 12, and 18. A skill or ability check that is not directly related to their cutie mark, but still related to their cutie mark receives half of this bonus. Additionally, a Natural 20 on a skill or ability check directly related to their cutie mark will result in extraordinary results. However, a Natural 1 on a skill or ability check directly related to their cutie mark will result in disaster.
